Olivia is really focusing on faces. She starts reaching out with her arms as we talk to her.
1 Month Old!
Week 5
Olivia shows even more facial expressions. She is actually very expressive with her eyebrows. Olivia is following the big kids' movements when they talk to her and move around her.
Week 6
We are getting more smirks and small smiles. Olivia responds really well to our voices now and can differentiate between 2 people when Mommy and Daddy are side-by-side talking to her. Olivia really seems to like the baby carrier, and Mommy can soothe her almost anytime in it. This helps Mommy get a few things done, too!
Week 7
Olivia started cooing and is smiling more now. Last night, she had a small giggle for us! She is really beginning to wake up, and we have noticed she is having longer periods of awake time. Maybe that's because she is sleeping longer - last night was a whopping 6 hours straight! Yippee! She is starting to give a big cry when she wakes up hungry! Olivia can hold onto blankets, small toys, fingers, and (like big brother) Mama's hair! Olivia sucks her fingers for comfort and if she is hanging out in her bed. Kiran sat and talked with Olivia for about 20 minutes on the couch, showing her his birthday toys. She seemed to love the attention (and so did he)! Kiran likes to talk to Olivia and wants her to focus on his face. Ellery wants to hold Olivia. Olivia likes both! Olivia seems to love hearing Daddy's voice when he gets home. Jeff can almost always get a smile or expression of excitement when he comes in! So fun to see our sweet girl wake up to her world!

I love seeing more pictures of Miss Olivia! What a beautiful girl-looks like she has big beautiful eyes just like Kiran and Ellery. Can't wait to meet Olivia and see you all!
