Ellery is 1 month old!

Needless to say, this first month has flown by. We can't believe that Ellery is so old! She is doing really well and is holding up her head, recognizing Mom, Dad, and Kiran's faces, and has been smiling at us for a few days now. Ellery had her 1 month appointment Friday and weighed 8 lbs 13 oz! We are so grateful that our little miracle baby is so healthy and happy!

A big thank you to Amanda for all her help with Kiran and Ellery this week. Kiran and Amanda had a blast playing outside and dancing. Ellery really enjoyed all the extra attention from her aunt too. It was great to spend a week together and hang out late after the kiddos went to bed. Thanks again, We will miss you!

Settling In (and new pictures too!)

Things are finally settling down here. I started back to work this week. Ami and her sister Amanda kept our kids (it's fun to say kidS by the way) plenty busy with lots of time outside since the weather has been great. Ellery hit her 3 week birthday this week and can hold her head up for a long time. Ami had a good report from her doctor this week. Kiran is doing great and seems to really enjoy being a big brother. Our first week by ourselves will be next week, so I'll be working from home since Ami still can't lift anything heavy.

A special Thank You! to Ami's parents (Granna and Grandad) for pulling double duty and keeping Kiran and Ellery while Ami spent 4 nights in the hospital. Kiran had a blast refurbishing his Mom's old tractor with Grandad and Ellery...well slept like a baby ;) We are so grateful to you for your help!

Moving the Blog

We decided to move to blogspot since I am running out of space on .mac and I've not been entirely impressed with iWeb's features (nested photo albums anyone?). I'll move the old content over as I have time. In the meantime, photos are back (links are to the right).
